Call me a kid with no taste, but I still love the simple and boring geometric contemporary furnishings.  Usually basket weave goods serve really no eye appeal, other than those who haven’t seen a house furnished in this shit, but I have, being one from a tropical island, there’s tons… NO MORE!!! But these pieces by Schoenhuber Franchi are quite the eye catchers, complete with stainless steel legs and a more modernized form…  What more quality patio furniture could you possibly ask for? Maybe a matte black  finish? hmmm…

STONE ISLAND COLOR CHANGING PARKA!?

Posted in Design, Fashion on July 21, 2009 by strikewithnumbers

Apparently this jacket changes colors depending on the temperature, it turns from this bright royal blue to a darker shade of blue when the weather drops below 15 degrees faranheit.. Not very useful here in CALI but still a nice touch for those in cooler temps this winter. I still think ACRYONYM‘S GT-J11X and L-J11X are still far more stellar.

For those who haven’t seen it, here’s what that shit does…

Here’s a nice enjoyable bathroom piece collection by COSMOGRES. I love how they use thicker grooves around each shape of each piece of this collection. Gives it that boldness kids are usually accustomed and drawn to.

GRANGEGORMAN RESIDENCE BY ODOS ARCHITECTS

Here’s a look at the Grangegorman residence designed by ODOS architects kind of a hip modernized style. The interior is plush eggshell white on maple wood (as it seems). Sickly narrow staircase leading to the upper floor(s). But what I thought was pretty cool of the whole home was the cupboard like window covers… I think those open and close… they could be stationary. It looks so small and compacted, more like a loftish apartment, but its really a standalone home. From the looks of the floorplan though, the square footage is quite petite, an approximate 1507 sq ft. This residence definitely does stand out from the rest of the neighborhood don’t you agree?

EXOVAULT METAL IPHONE CASE

Posted in Design on July 15, 2009 by strikewithnumbers

If you’ve ever wanted to use your phone as a lethal weapon EXOvault has come up with a full blown metal iphone case. They come in 3 types of metals (aluminum $95, brass $95, titanium $300)… Pretty interesting, really pricey but should give your iphone 3G(S) the most protection without cracking your case and having to dish out and buy a a fresh one. Go to EXOvault to purchase.

EYE TWISTING TV FRAME FIXTURES BY MUST ITALIA

Posted in Design on July 14, 2009 by strikewithnumbers

All I can say is this TV frame trips me the fuck out!! Shit’s genius… imagine watching an 1080p HDTV flipped to a galactic documentary on Nat-Geo lava lamps flowing parallel to the wall fixture and flipped out on 2 blunts of silver haze…. 1 word.. damn. HAhaha!

EGG BATHS BY PRODIGG

Posted in Design on July 14, 2009 by strikewithnumbers

Hmmm… I don’t know what it is about this tub, maybe the whole set up on top of white stone chips complimented with a dark neutral zircote wood floors… Or is it just the nice solid cocaine white tub itself providing a equilibrium to the whole room…. You decide.. But this eggshell bath poses somekind of iron, don’t you agree?  All in all, this just tops it off in my list of my facination of eggs.
